Property description

Located just on the outskirts of Dorking town centre in a tucked away position, as you pull into the sweeping gravelled driveway, you can't help but be enamoured by the appearance of the abundance of colour and flowers that greet you! Once inside, you will be impressed by the living space as there are two separate reception rooms to enjoy. This means you can have friends and family over for dinner in the dining room and then get cosy afterwards in the lounge in front of the roaring open fire - a real treat on those colder evenings. The vast conservatory is a superb size and when the warmer weather arrives it is just the place for combining relaxing and entertaining in one. Overlooking the garden, this would make a great playroom too and gives you the freedom to play around with the layout of the house as the seasons change. The kitchen/breakfast room is a good size with lots of room at the breakfast bar for guests to chat with a coffee as you rustle up something special! The separate utility means the kitchen can solely be used for cooking in too. Upstairs it's effortless to see a family growing into this home with ease thanks to the spacious layout and bedroom sizes. There is also the perfect "escape" to be had to the bathroom for that well earned soak. Outside the garden is a dream come true for families with so much space for the kids to play hide and seek for hours, tiring themselves nicely. Likewise keen gardeners will love the opportunity a garden this size offers. There is even a generous garage for those that like to tinker.

What the Owner says:

I moved here almost 34 years ago now as I fell in love with the size of the house. I was looking for a well built family home and the minute I stepped inside, this place just felt right. I guess that's why I have stayed here as long as I have.

It was perfect for bringing up the children and the location was ideal for everything. The schools, town centre and stations are all in reach, with a bus route into Dorking, it has been a very convenient home too. Now that the kids are all grown up, it's time for me to down-size to something smaller.
