3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, sitting room, kitchen/breakfast room, dining area, cloakroom, gardens, parking.
SITUATION Iffley village has its origins in medieval history with a mention as early as AD 941 in the Chronicles of Abingdon and in the Domesday book of 1086. The famous 12th Century church of St Mary stands on the brow of the hill overlooking the River Thames. The river and lock are particularly attractive with walks along the tow path from Oxford. The village benefits from two pubs and also the Isis on the other side of the river, a hotel, a community shop and a post office. It is well placed for communications to the centre of Oxford together with access to the M4 and M40 via the A34. In addition there are commuter services from both Oxford and Didcot railway stations to London Paddington in fifty five minutes and forty five minutes respectively.
