Property description
Post code envy ahoy. A detached home in the Ashdown Forest sounds good enough, but throw in to the mix a show home condition and it is more than enough to get the senses going.
A beautiful interior awaits. The tone is set in the modern hallway. Once you are through double doors you'll gasp at the thought of filling the huge lounge. With so much light flooding in through the bay window it's a great space. An open fire is great for taking the chill off bones, especially after a winter's stroll in to the village for a paper and the milk or maybe further afield. One imagines that you'll take full advantage of all the countryside walks available to you on the Forest.
Guests will be green-eyed at the stunning kitchen/diner. With so much thought having gone in to the layout there's plenty of space for those who are a whizz in the kitchen, but not at the detriment of a dining table.
A large utility room with access from the side allows pets and children to be hosed down if needed. There's also enough room for white goods too!
The master bedroom enjoys the best outlook. An en-suite is, as you would expect, to the highest order.
Two further bedrooms are great doubles. The second also has an en-suite. The family bathroom is beautiful too.
A well secluded and landscaped rear garden will play host to many a garden party or event.
The village centre with plenty of cosmopolitan variety is a short stroll away.
What the Owner says:
When we turned up to look at this property we knew we had to have it! The location, the outlook and the potential were all we were looking for. It was ideal: so much so that we were waiting for the agents to open to make an offer!
Since we moved in we have changed the exterior and all of the interior. We wanted to give a more contemporary feel throughout and hence we have re-fitted the bathrooms and the kitchen, decorated throughout and changed the flooring.
We'll miss the outlook and being able to walk the dogs on the Forest. We'll also miss the ability to walk to the golf course, the playing fields and the village centre, where there is more than anyone could ever need.
