We were living in a smaller country cottage and it didn't have the space for a growing family.
We were taken with the high ceilings as well as the space in the other rooms. We liked the amount of parking and the size of the garden compared to other houses we had looked at.
As well as having plenty to do here when we moved in we also changed a couple of doors to Oak doors as we wanted them to be in keeping with the age of the house.
We'll miss the village setting and it was really handy to not only walk down to the centre of the village, but also the local schools. It's a cosmopolitan village with plenty always going on.
