Property description

Tucked away in a quiet country lane and yet within a short walk to Westbourne village in one direction, and Emsworth in the other.

This barn and hayloft conversion has lots of character and even more potential.

The Hollybank woods and Stanstead Estate grounds spread out to the North and offer dog walkers, joggers, cyclists, a myriad of paths and routes to choose from. The South Downs National Park beckons slightly further or for a change of scenery why not take to the water at nearby Emsworth or explore its stunning Coastline. Westbourne is a traditional West Sussex village with a pretty square and everything you need for daily provisions.

On returning home, you can shut the door on the hustle and bustle and pressures of life and relax in this charming character property.

With a linnear layout it is the garden that it is the main focal point and is mature, private and sunny. Spend lazy afternoons on the patio listening to nothing but birdsong and the occasional hooves of passing horses.

Inside the living room, dining room and study all have their charm and three bedrooms and a bathroom complete the accommodation.

A sizeable detached garage provides the ideal shelter for most cars of most sizes and is ideal for those who tinker or have a classic or sports car to cherish.

What the Owner says:

This has been a great home and one with many wonderful memories for us as a family. It has been full of laughter and the garden is a joy to potter around in.

Our parents lived here for many years and it is a great shame that we now have to say goodbye to it but we will take our memories with us and always remember it fondly.

The location is lovely as it's close enough to most things to make it practical to live here yet it is also supremely quiet.
Although we are aware it now needs work we hope the next owner will love it as our parents did and spend many happy years here.
