Property description

This attractive family home was built as a four bedroom house in the 1920s and the mock Tudor facade certainly adds to the kerb appeal. The current owners, not needing four bedrooms, knocked through and made themselves a very generous 21'10 bedroom. In addition to this, there are two further double bedrooms, so there is plenty of room for the whole family.

With many character features, you will certainly feel at home as this house has beam work ceilings, panelled doors and a beautiful wooden front door. You can imagine relaxing in the lounge with a good book at the end of a busy day.

After enjoying a stroll along the seafront or through the surrounding countryside you can come back home and take your muddy boots or sandy shoes off in the utility room.

The kitchen/breakfast area and dining area are open plan, which make a great space for entertaining. You can rustle up a fantastic meal in the kitchen/breakfast area, whilst chatting to friends and family as they sit at the dining table.

Both the front and the rear gardens are lawned, with some pleasant plants which add a splash of colour amidst the greenery. The children will love running around the garden, only stopping to feed the ducks which sometimes leave the watercourse to waddle on the grass.

What the Owner says:

We first moved to Dymchurch 60 years ago and we have spent most of our married life here, with only a brief interlude in Wadhurst. We used to live around the corner from this house and when we moved back to Dymchurch 30 years ago, we knew this was the one for us.

We have always felt welcomed by the villagers and have made many friends over the years, and we have great neighbours. We will be really sad to leave them behind.

We had a second garage built, giving us one for the car and the other to use as a workshop for our hobbies. You will find we also have plenty of parking.
