Property description
Walking into the home you immediately tell this will be the perfect place to bring up a family. The kitchen and dining areas will be the hub of the home where you will gather at meal times to catch up on each others days. With the double doors open to the conservatory, this will give you even more room. It will be the perfect place to relax with the papers and a cup of tea. In the summer months all the doors can be left open from the conservatory and the lounge which both lead onto the garden, meaning it is the perfect place to entertain. The garden then becomes an extension of the home where you can sit out with friends on the patio whilst the children run around the lawn. The garage conversion means you will have a separate space to work from home where you can shut yourself away. Upstairs the three bedrooms are a good size. The master comes with an en-suite shower which means you will never have to beat the children to the bathroom in the morning, meaning you can get ready at your own leisure. Chartham is a fantastic village with great links onto the A2 as well as the M20 if you commute to work. You can either be in the countryside taking in those superb views or within a short drive you can be in the City centre of Canterbury sampling all of its cultural delights.
NB: One of the conditions of planning of the conversion of the garage was to extend the drive within 3 years of completion. This is still currently outstanding.
What the Owner says:
We had seen other homes in the development but it was really the kitchen/dining space that sold it to us. We moved here 11 years ago and at the time we did not have any children, so loved entertaining friends and family. It is also nice to be on a corner and being slightly elevated, means you have a better view to the rear. Over the years we have had two children and it has been a great family home. We have added a conservatory as well as converted the garage. I have a baking business so it has been great to have a separate space to work from home. Eleven years have now passed and we are now looking for our next step up the property ladder.
