Property description

Just a short stroll from the green at Boughton Aluph where you can sit and enjoy a glass of your favourite tipple at the "Flying Horse" whilst you look on out to a cricket match in full swing.

This fine home not only commands your attention because of its location with its panoramic countryside views but because of its curb appeal, attention to detail and build quality.

When the owners designed their home, they were mindful to build a practical yet individual home with character.

The cosy and inviting lounge has a beautiful bay window and with a stunning log burner and a beamed ceiling there is probably no better place that you would want to be on those cold winter nights.

The kitchen/dining room has been updated in recent years and it makes for a lovely space to sit and enjoy informal meals together.

The house was originally designed as a 4 bedroom but when it was built, they arranged it with 3 double bedrooms instead. There could still be the option to convert one of the bedrooms into two rooms. With walk in loft access, there is still further potential to make addition bedrooms or an en-suite if someone wished.

What the Owner says:

We designed and built our home 24 years ago and being my husband is a real perfectionist, he did everything to the highest standards.
We often sit out in the conservatory as we love to look out at the countryside and we are lucky enough to have it literally on our doorstep.
We built the house with plenty of storage and there is an insulated workshop with a view. We have a water softener that will remain and there is also a burglar alarm.
Over the years, we've had large family get togethers and having such a good living space has really done us well. Our home has plenty of good memories and I hope the next owner gets as much enjoyment out of it as we have.
