Property description
This detached home sits on the foot of the North Downs and overlooks the Stour Valley. The views from the front of the property are simply stunning and reach over the valley to the fields and woods beyond. The large windows of this house take full advantage of the views and as the seasons change, you’ll often find yourself looking out.
The back garden stretches up to the downs and the visiting wildlife can often be spotted and enjoyed from the comfort of the lounge. There’s plenty of room in the garden for the whole family to enjoy whether it’s the children playing or mum and dad tending the flower beds.
The house inside, as well as bright, is well laid out with a good size kitchen and a lounge that stretches from the front to the back. The upstairs has been reconfigured by the current owners and has 3 separate bedrooms and an updated family bathroom with a 'P' shaped bath and large towel rail.
What the Owner says:
We came here two and half years ago from Wye, a village a few miles away, and knew the area as I was brought up just up the road. The house we lived in was quite a bit smaller than this one and certainly didn’t have the views that we just love.
It was actually a two bedroom home when we came here as one of the rooms was part of one of the other bedrooms. We’ve now made it a proper 3 bedroom home and we’ve also updated the bathroom and kitchen.
We love being in the country but as we’re almost midway between Ashford and Canterbury it’s also quite conveniently located as well.
