Property description
From the moment you walk through the picturesque front garden you just know that this property is going to be something special - and you won't be disappointed. With beautifully maintained landscape gardens on three sides, this delightful home is bound to appeal to keen gardeners, who will love tending the well stocked borders with many specimen trees, shrubs and plants.
The stunning views from the property have to be seen to be believed - a superb open aspect across Woodingdean, Ovingdean, and Roedean with the English Channel glistening in the distance. This is a home which will be ideal for families - there is so much room for everyone to spread out, with plenty of bedroom space, a really large lounge and a dining room, which you could also use as an additional bedroom.
With paved patio areas dispersed throughout the gardens, there could be no better place to entertain your friends to a summer barbecue or enjoy a few drinks in the evening sunshine whilst taking in the fantastic views.
If you enjoy walking on the downs or have a dog to exercise, this property is well placed to give you the access that you need. It is within easy reach of the bridle path, which runs along the northern edge of Woodingdean, providing exhilarating walks with panoramic views over downland towards the South Downs and Brecon Beacon.
What the Owner says:
We moved down to Brighton when my late husband started working for a local firm of engineers and after a lot of searching, we eventually found this property, which was just ideal for us. We had the idea of being self sufficient and were looking for somewhere with a large garden, so that we could grow our own vegetables.
Having looked all around the Brighton and Hove areas, we also liked the accessibility to the city centre, with a frequent bus service passing our front gate.
The property is now too large for me and I will always miss my lovely garden and the views down to the sea, which give me so much pleasure.
