When we moved to Rookley we really liked the rural feel of the village and the added convenience of being close to the local amenities. The regular bus service to Newport for shopping and nights out was a big bonus too.
Since living here we have made many improvements to the house including full redecoration, new carpets throughout, replaced the fencing to the front and landscaping the rear garden.
Our neighbours here are great and there is a good community spirit in the village - it's a pity that we can't take our neighbours with us. Unfortunately family commitments are taking us back to the mainland.
