Families were out with their dogs who were playing fetch and some of them braved it into the sea (sorry but they are only allowed on the beach in the winter months). Children were out with their nets at the pool looking for crabs and it felt like being on holiday. It reminded me of just how fortunate I am to live in Minnis Bay. A further walk along the promenade, (which also acts as a cycle path) and then we turned inland and walked alongside the fields returning home having enjoyed both the sea and the countryside.
This home has been lovingly restored by its current owners (just wait until you see the kitchen) and yet it still retains the charm and character of the 1930’s era. After the aforementioned walk why not warm up in front of your wood burner in the lounge whilst waiting for the roast dinner to be ready. You can look out over your garden and see the daffodils starting to flower and other bulbs peaking out through the soil.
The separate dining room will be a wonderful place to entertain your friends and family as they come to visit you and with 3 good sized bedrooms they can perhaps stay over for a day or two. As the weather starts to improve, throw open the doors from the lounge, let the sun in, enjoy your garden and when it gets a little too warm take some shelter in your summer house.
