We bought this house 13 years ago as first time buyers and having been bought up in the village and with family round the corner, we were already in love with the location and it was the ideal leap onto the property market for us. Over the years, we've done a great deal of work to the house, from new front, back and internal doors to new carpets and redecoration. We replaced the bathroom (albeit 12 years ago now) and installed double glazing (including the sash windows to keep the character). We also replaced the boiler and moved it up to the loft to give us more space inside and have completely transformed the outside too. We are only moving for another house in the village that we have seen as we absolutely love it here and definitely want to stay.
