Property description

A character home with a modern twist. This would be the easiest way to sum up, in short this property. If you are looking for a home with character, period features and Victorian fireplaces but you are not looking for a refurbishment project then this home is going to be the one for you.

A modern kitchen is ready for you to practise your culinary skills and the benefit of having a separate lounge and dining area means you will be able to entertain your guests round the dining table and then relax in the lounge.

It is not just inside this home that will impress you but what is outside you could look forward to as well.

The garden is perfect for those barbecues in the summer and is not overlooked from the back. Parking at the front has never been a problem for the current owners as there is a lay-by providing additional space for parking as well as on the road.

When you have got some spare time why not take a leisurely stroll down to the shops for your Sunday paper or maybe on a Friday night you could treat yourself to a takeaway.

If you need to consider schools then just a little further down the road you will find one of the best primary schools in the area.

So to summarise, this is a home that caters for many wants and needs and much more.

What the Owner says:

We nearly didn't view this property as we were unfamiliar with the location but we decided to drive through the village of Wainscott and have a look. We were pleasantly surprised. The village is small but everything you need is within walking distance, perfect for parking and central for public transport.

When viewing the property, we instantly fell in love with the character of the house with the original cast iron fireplaces and quirky outhouse in the garden. There are plenty of built-in cupboards in each room for extra storage.

We just wish we could move this house closer to our family.
