Property description

Get ready to be excited! This is your chance to live in the heart of historic Rochester. With the launch of the new Rochester station, putting Rochester 35 minutes from London, this is very much the place to be.

Bishops Square is a highly regarded area of Rochester, boasting a fantastic community and a cultural centre that is right on its doorstep, with the Castle, Cathedral and High Street all within half a mile.

You can take a stroll to meet friends at one of the smart boutique coffee shops or restaurants. On another day, there is always The Esplanade to walk along and blow away those cobwebs. Then there are the Dickens Festivals that are held twice a year or the Castle Concerts during those summer months. What a wonderful place to live.

The house itself is ready for you to move into, choose your furniture and those bits that make it homely and you are set!

The downstairs layout is very sociable for having friends over for dinner parties. The home has a really cosy feel. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms and bathroom which certainly gives the home the "WOW" factor.

There is considerable opportunity to extend the property. The house has a cellar, laundry area to the rear of the kitchen and a loft. It also has one of the longer gardens on Horsley Road, which is a fantastic sun trap, as well as no chain.

What the Owner says:

I fell in love with this house the minute I saw it, it has such a lovely, homely feel to it. The amount of light and sunshine streaming in through the windows, immediately made me feel at home. I also loved the Period details, the beautiful wooden floor and old doors with stained glass windows and the original fireplaces.

This house is perfectly positioned and is a ten minute walk to the station and the town, with all its culture and excellent restaurants.

It's with a very heavy heart that I'm selling. My partner lives in Hertfordshire and although I've tried to make this work as a weekend home, it's time to let someone else call this house 'home'.
