Property description

Set on the edge of a popular residential location, this delightful two double bedroom house would make an ideal first time, investment or down-sizer purchase.

The cosy living room is a great place in which to relax and benefits from a large under stairs cupboard, handy for storing coats and shoes etc and the beamed ceiling adds a nice cottagey feel.

The bespoke fitted kitchen features smart modern units with Siemens and Neff integrated appliances including dishwasher and fridge/freezer. This leads onto the landscaped rear garden with stream beyond. The front garden is very low maintenance and has also been landscaped.

Both bedrooms are doubles, the larger of the two having a useful mirror-fronted fitted wardrobe. The rear bedroom, currently used as an office, looks out over the rear garden. From the landing, there is a ladder to the loft which offers further storage space.

There is a parking space allocated to the property, plus a visitor parking area, although with so many local amenities being within walking distance, you may never need to use the car again!

London and Gatwick commuters will love that the station is an easy walk, only being about half a mile away and there are plenty of pubs, cafes and restaurants in the village, all within easy reach.

What the Owner says:

We've lived here for nearly thirty years and it's hard to imagine being in a more friendly or convenient location. The neighbours are lovely and having easy access to shopping and the medical centre just over the road is really useful.

Although built in the '80s, our home has a cottagey feel to it and we've made various improvements over the years, including a stunning new kitchen with integrated appliances and condensing boiler in 2009. The double glazed windows have also been updated, loft insulation added and now the house is very warm and economical to run.

We'll miss having the South Downs almost on the doorstep and hope the next owner loves it here as much as we have.
