Property description
They say that when you buy a property it is all about the location, well this lovely home has everything on its doorstep. You can stroll to the local pub, or walk along the Royal Military Canal to the shops. If you enjoy eating out you will be spoilt for choice, as there is a great selection of restaurants and coffee shops in the centre of town.
The owner of this home is a carpenter and he has definitely worked his magic in the kitchen/breakfast room. There is enough work surface for all of today's kitchen gadgets and you won’t need to worry about storage as there is a large selection of units. At one end of the kitchen/breakfast room the owner has hand made a shelving unit which incorporates storage cupboards, giving you somewhere to hide away all those little things that you don’t want out on the side.
If you want somewhere to sit and relax at the end of the day then I definitely recommend that you head for the conservatory as it catches the evening sun, making it the perfect place to sit with a glass of wine, whilst you look out over the garden.
As the garden is bathed in the afternoon sun it will be the ideal place to have barbecues with friends and family, and the topic of conversation will definitely be how lucky you are to live in such a wonderful town.
What the Owner says:
We bought our home eight years ago and it looked nothing like it does today. Since being here we have added a large porch on the front, which has given us a great area to store coats and shoes, and it has also helped to keep the house warm during the winter months. We also had a new boiler fitted in August 2014.
If like us you enjoy going on bike rides, then we would definitely recommend that you venture along the Royal Military Canal and Hythe’s beautiful seafront. If you need to travel further afield, the M20 is a short drive away.
You won’t need to worry about parking here as we are able to get one car off road in the front garden.
