Property description

This delightful period property offers you everything you could want, need and more! You are greeted by a gated front garden offering security and privacy, unlike most other period properties where the front door leads directly onto the pavement.

Once inside you are welcomed by a warm entrance hall leading into a cosy lounge which is flooded by natural light from the beautiful bay window at the front. The separate dining room is the perfect place for all the family to gather round the dinner table whilst you catch up on the day’s events over a nice hot meal.

Externally there is a good sized sunny rear garden with a lawn large enough for little ones to play upon whilst you rustle up a barbecue on the patio.

Not only does this property have a lot to offer but it is also situated in a great location. For those of you unfamiliar with the area, there are a choice of shops and amenities including doctors and dental surgeries, a chemist, a butchers, a post office and a choice of mini supermarkets on Perry Street. If that is not enough action for you then why not take a stroll into Gravesend town centre and enjoy a shopping spree or even take a relaxing walk along the river front. For commuters, the railway station offers a high speed train service that will whisk you into London in just over twenty minutes.

The A2/M2 networks are also just a few minute's drive away giving you access to Bluewater shopping centre, London and the coast for a relaxing day out with the family.

What the Owner says:

I was born in another house on this street, which was my parent’s home and I thoroughly enjoyed growing up here, so when the opportunity to buy a house in this road came up, I grabbed it with both hands!
I have now owned this house for over twenty years, and in more recent years I have carried out a lot of work to the property. Not only have I maintained the decoration throughout, I have also made a lot of effort to restore many of the original features of the house, including renovating the fireplaces and stripping and dipping the original doors. I have also landscaped the garden making it pretty much maintenance free.
I hope the new owners will enjoy living in this house as much as I have done.
