Property description
Make your perfect home at this beautiful Victorian house. From the moment you enter you can imagine the warmth from the wood burner fighting away the cold winter nights in the stylish and contemporary decorated property. This is a house to share though and you are bound to be the envy of your friends too as they make their way over the stripped original wood floors into the great size dining room, full of light from the large window looking onto the garden. Get them seated and with wine in hand even if you’re not quite finished in the kitchen as it opens into the room, making sure you won’t miss out on the latest gossip.
It is not just about downstairs here, the Victorian features, including stripped wood floors continue as you head on up to the two lovely sized bedrooms on the first floor. Here you also find the great bathroom – with a stand alone shower and separate bath you are spoilt for space again. A clever layout means that you do not have to go through another bedroom to get to the bathroom which is a common worry in many houses of this age.
As far as location goes, you are tucked away off a quiet lane which is perfect when you want to shut the world off behind your door. However, you are seconds from the town itself so well placed to enjoy all the sights and sounds that Faversham has to offer. Commuters will also love being just a couple of minutes’ walk to the railway station.
What the Owner says:
This has been a lovely house to live in. I really love the area so close to town and the station. I am sure this will serve the new owner as well as it has me. I am only really thinking about moving as my dream home has come up on the market, a house I have always wanted to live in. Otherwise I am sure I would have been very happy here for many years to come.
I have been very busy with this house and really done the best to bring out the original features. I have changed so much here and it has been a real pleasure to restore it. I think someone could also continue the work I have done here – maybe someone will do more with the cellar? Although it is great storage space as it is.
