Property description

Picture yourself in a small, friendly village, surrounded by pretty countryside and farmland, where you can enjoy long walks, explore Kits Coty and the North Downs Way and where woodland walks and bridal paths abound and take you away from the daily grind.

Here it is easy to integrate into village life, there is a local shop with a Post Office a stone’s throw away, an inviting village pub which serves traditional food and a large village green where there is the occasional Fair or Village event. The acclaimed infant and primary school is an easy walk away, so even in the snow children have no excuse not to go!

This home is beautifully presented and you have the convenience of an upstairs bathroom as well as a downstairs shower room. It has a cosy and homely feel about it and two reception rooms give you that extra space with a separate kitchen, open to the dining area, so perfect for mingling whilst preparing a meal and entertaining so you won’t feel cramped here.

There is more potential with a super sized loft which could be converted into a hobby room or a super sized extra bedroom, subject to consents.

Eccles is a wonderfully self-contained village with a doctors and regular ‘bus service, a friendly pub and there is easy road access to the nearby A229 which also connects you to either the M2 at junction 3 or the M20 at junction 6.

What the Owner says:

I was attracted to my home by its Victorian character, the solid feel of a traditionally built house and the features these older style homes have.

I liked the fact that it had large bedrooms and had much more space overall at a better price than other homes I viewed.
It’s a friendly village in which to live and you have a great combination of a rural setting without feeling either remote or cut off.

I have lived here for fourteen years now and I can honestly say I have been very happy here, however, I have now decided it is time to move up the next rung of the property ladder.
