Property description
Stylishly decorated with huge attention to detail, this Victorian mid-terraced house has plenty of fresh appeal. Situated within Cowes, it offers a short, flat walk into the town centre, where you will find Marina's, a variety of shops as well as links to the mainland. This period home would make an ideal first home, holiday retreat or even a crew let. The current owner has kept this house up together and beautifully decorated throughout so you will feel right at home. Starting on the ground level, the walls are painted in white, with Tundra wood flooring on the deck. The living areas are extremely light, the double glazed bay window to the front allows in plenty of sunshine and the dividing wall, which features two decorative arches and a stunning fireplace with wood burning stove, links the two rooms spectacularly well. The kitchen's been fitted with glossy white units and dark wood block effect work surface, so makes it a lovely space to cook up the evening meal. A lean-to at the side of the kitchen is an extremely useful space for storage and could double up as a handy utility space. From here you can access the rear courtyard pebbled garden to enjoy a refreshing drink. On the upper deck, there are two good size double bedrooms both with fitted sliding wardrobes, whilst the family bathroom, incorporates a sleek black and white design, so you can choose to either enjoy a nice hot bath or quick shower before heading to bed. All in all this is a fantastic house that should be viewed before its too late!
What the Owner says:
This was the first property I viewed and I knew instantly this house would be the one, with it's flowing open plan layout complimented by the morning sun, in the back bedroom and bathroom and evening sun in the lounge and main bedroom, it gives a warm feeling throughout. Also naturally lit due to its white walls and bay window, a lovely enclosed pebbled garden with back access onto Bridge Road, makes it only 300 metre walk to the Marina. Parking' s also fantastic, we're just outside the permit zone and there is plenty of parking across the road from here. I will be sad to leave but I have now decided to up-size, but hope that the new owners love this house as much as I have.
