Property description

Original and quirky are both words that could be used to describe this stunning period home which is located in a perfect rural setting opposite the church in Temple Ewell. The current owner has modernised the home throughout but it still maintains many original features.

When you draw back the curtains in the mornings to enjoy the lovely views over the village you will wonder if life could get any better. You will enjoy breakfast in the dining room courtesy of the recent extension before catching the news in the cosy lounge.

There is a lovely private garden with off road parking and when visitors do come to stay there is a residents car park at the top of the hill.

The rear garden is a real sun trap, especially on the lovely decking area. You can imagine sitting outside in the evenings with a glass of wine and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

Temple Ewell is a typical quintessential English village with its own pub, church, school, village hall and post office. You have the chance to enjoy the quiet life or socialise at various clubs available.

At the weekends you can grab your walking boots and take your faithful friend for a hike across the surrounding hills or take the children to nearby Kearsney Abbey to feed the ducks.

What the Owner says:

I have lived here for approximately 12 years. Since owning the house I have up-dated it throughout and extended it to the rear. This provides so much extra space meaning I can have a separate dining room and I can really take advantage of entertaining in the garden.

I love the area as everyone is so friendly. I have even got involved with the local amateur dramatics and the village magazine.

I am unsure of the age of the house but part of it looks very similar to the church and records show that the local vicar sold the house in 1904.
