Property description

When Dorothy and her friends followed the Yellow Brick Road they were each granted a wish. Dorothy’s wish was to find her way home. Three taps of her heels and she was there. Not quite a yellow brick road but just a few steps away and you too will find your dream home.

The elevated position gives you commanding views towards the sea where you can marvel at many a gorgeous sun set but if you prefer to be move active, the superb and well stocked rear garden is a horticultural haven. Pick your own fruit or veg in the summer or just sit and marvel at the current owner's endeavours.

Inside, an old coal house has now been transformed into a utility room and separate toilet while the heart of the house has to be the kitchen and dining areas. Seeming to catch every last drop of sunshine, meal times are sure to be a happy affair but for a quiet moment, the cosy lounge is the place to be.

The master bedroom is larger than most and with windows to the front and rear, it may be possible to make this into two bedrooms if the need arises (subject to the necessary consents of course). So as your family grows the house can adapt. (The current owners have lived here over forty years so maybe you will too).

A bus ride into town will take you to local shops, pubs and restaurants and the A27 is on hand if you need to venture further afield.

What the Owner says:

More than forty years have flown by yet the area hasn’t changed much. We still have the gorgeous views and still see sheep grazing on the hillside from time to time. We’ve always had such lovely neighbours too. It will certainly be a wrench for us but the time has come for us to move nearer to our family.

One of the best changes we made to our home was converting the old coal house to a utility room and separate toilet. It’s made such a difference.

We have a real family garden too. We get so much colour all year round and there’s the extra bonus of a workshop with power and lighting – oh and an additional storage cupboard too.

How could we forget our lovely shower room?
