SITUATION
The hamlet of Beckhampton is in the World Heritage Site of Avebury. It is 1 mile from  Avebury stone circle where there is the post office and excellent community shop. Equidistant from Marlborough, Devizes and Calne it boasts the famous coaching Inn, the Waggon and Horses. There are excellent communications with a coach to and from London once a day plus to Bath on weekdays. There is also a regular bus service from Trowbridge to Swindon. DIRECTIONS
From Marlborough take the A4 west. On passing Silbury Hill on your right you will come to Beckhampton with the Waggon and Horses Inn on your right. Within 200 yards take a left hand turning where there is a notice for a B&B called Isobel cottage, this is before the roundabout.
