HISTORICAL NOTES Oldfield Park Primitive Methodist chapel was opened on Wednesday September 14th,1892 having cost £2,249 to build. Local residents will also remember the tin church hall (called the Institute Building on maps and built in 1903) which once stood to the left side of the building.
