Property description
Trewince occupies a wonderful position close to the centre of this exclusive village, having been converted from an Edwardian house some years ago, the two bedroom accommodation is light and of good size enjoying wonderful views from the bay windows which overlook the stunning tranquil communal gardens.
Port Navas is a picturesque little creekside village, for most of the nineteenth century it was a busy port shipping granite from nearby quarries. Helford oysters have been landed here for more than a hundred years and the Duchy Oyster Farm still operates from the quay. The tiny Village Hall hosts art exhibitions and other events throughout the summer.
Port Navas Yacht Club is also a very popular meeting place serving good food and beverages overlooking the creek where visiting boats are welcome.
Port Navas is highly regarded as one of the North Helford Area's most sought-after waterside communities, by virtue of the ease of access onto the beautiful creeks of the Helford River, the spectacular and completely unspoilt surrounding countryside, the picturesque walks which abound in the area, and the proximity of the very well served neighbouring villages of Constantine and Mawnan Smith. Both villages are approximately two miles distant, and which provide an excellent range of day-to-day amenities including shops, public houses, hairdressers, churches, sports clubs and schools, etc. The port of Falmouth is approximately seven miles distant and the cathedral city of Truro, the county's retailing, commercial, administrative and legal centre, is an approximate thirty minute drive away.
