Property description
Are you sick and tired of keeping up with the Jones's and want to stand out from the crowd? Are you looking for something completely different? Then you need to view this two double bedroom Victorian conversion DUPLEX. What is a Duplex?…I hear you say, well it is an apartment spread over two floors giving the feeling of a traditional house, but great value for money.
Originally built in 1891 as a house, the property was converted approximately 28 years ago and whilst retaining many period features now offers deceptively spacious accommodation. The stairs rise from your own front door to a split level landing of which there is a bedroom, the lounge with a feature fireplace and a separate dining room with a window seat and feature bay window. The kitchen has been fitted with a range of modern units and there is a re-fitted bathroom suite. Stairs rise again to the second floor landing where you will find the master bedroom and a W.C.
Conveniently located for Horley's town centre, you could not be more centrally located. With easy access to the mainline station it could be ideal for commuters who want to leave their car at home and catch the train. Outside the property has its own secluded and private garden which has been landscaped and also has an allocated parking space.
What the Owner says:
Originally I was looking for a house, but I was persuaded to view this property. As I pulled up I thought it was so pretty and once inside I could not believe the space it had to offer, as it wasn't evident from outside that the apartment is arranged over two floors.
I loved the high ceilings and period features and liked the fact that I could still go up stairs to bed at night! Having the separate dining room is great when entertaining friends and family.
It is such a handy location as I can walk to the town and commute to London from Horley's train station. I enjoy relaxing in the garden and I have created a screened and secluded sitting area.
