Property description
This beautiful and unique two bedroom flat is located in a Grade II listed building on Rochester's historic High Street.
The lounge and front bedroom enjoy a fabulous view of Rochester Castle across the tiled roofs and chimneys of the buildings opposite. Built in the 1900’s, this home is spacious, cosy and secure.
There is an abundance of boutique shops, restaurants and tea rooms so enjoy leisurely strolls at the weekend and grab a cup of your favourite coffee.
The Cathedral and Castle grounds are delightful places to sit and relax at the weekends, reading your favourite book in the sunshine. Or why not enjoy a relaxing riverside walk, or on the nearby North Downs.
The rail station is close by, offering direct inks to London in one direction (35 minutes to St Pancras, perfect for those commuting who don't need a car) and to Canterbury and the Kent coast in the other. The new modern station which opens early next year, will be a mere 3 minute walk away - with coffee shops en route!
What the Owner says:
I will be sad to leave this flat, having enjoyed living here since moving from London 15 years ago.
I love having the town's heritage, amenities and cultural offerings directly outside the front door, as well as a vibrant arts culture, including galleries, local music and neighbourhood cinema, benefits that you wouldn't take advantage of so regularly if you were not part of the High Street community.
My job now takes me to Canterbury (and from one Cathedral to another).
I am hoping my next place can be equally as enjoyable to live in as this has!
