Property description
AGENTS COMMENTS A stone built detached country cottage which we understand dates back as far as the 1700's! An absolutely charming home from the kerb and set within the convenient, sought after and semi-rural location of Sandford. From this location, you'll find fantastic walks and cycle tracks on your doorstep, yet at the same time you'll be able to access the local village of Godshill for all of your daily necessities in just a few minutes. Stepping inside this quaint, characterful home, you'll be just as pleased with the quirky and individual style of the property internally. The lounge is cosy with a lovely fireplace feature. The cottage style kitchen is the social hub of the home and even has its very own AGA. The ground floor also provides a bathroom and a study or third bedroom. Heading upstairs, you will be pleased to find two very well sized double bedrooms which mirrors the downstairs in terms of character and charm. The rear garden that the property offers is quite something. Not only does it provide lots of space for children to play in, perhaps a green fingered gardener to harness their horticultural skills or just a place to sit back, catch some rays and enjoy the simply stunning views. You can't get a true appreciation of this splendid outside space without a viewing, so be sure to book yours today!
OWNERS COMMENTS I bought my cottage some nine years ago as a holiday home. It was a lovely place to escape to when living in the hustle and bustle of the mainland. My friends and family have loved coming down to use the property for a short break, with the garden being a very popular part. Since owning the cottage, we fell in love with the Island and have purchased a permanent home here close to the ferry for ease of getting back to see the family.
