The apartment is a great location, easy to commute to London (30-40 minutes) with a short walk to the station. The train line is also connected to Gatwick Airport and has easy access by car to get onto the M25 which is brilliant too.
The layout is one of the main reasons I fell in love with it here. Its great for having people over and socialising- yet relaxing in the evenings and peaceful throughout.
Living on the third floor is very quiet, although being close to town and the station which are seen, but not heard!
