Property description

This is one of four apartments converted from a large, attractive Victorian house in 2004. Entered via a communal lobby with classic quarry tiled floor, the accommodation features generously proportioned rooms with both bedrooms being good sized doubles. The larger than average bathroom has been attractively refitted and not only offers a free-standing roll-top bath but also a corner shower unit. Both the lounge aea and separate dining area have doors opening onto a private patio so you can relax outside with a glass of wine and a good book in the warmer weather. Beyond the patio, there is gated access to a communal area where you'll find your own private brick-built shed where you can store your outdoor bits and pieces.

There's inside storage too, both in the large hall cupboard and in the loft space above the rear bedroom. The kitchen area is sited centrally within the apartment, making it very convenient for both reception areas. It also has the entryphone system linked to the communal front door which gives you an added feeling of security.

Located just a stone's throw from the High Street and opposite the cricket ground where you can hear the crack of leather on willow, it could hardly be more convenient for all the shops, restaurants and amenities in this bustling village. It is also on the bus route between Guildford and Horsham, both of which have excellent facilities and mainline rail links to London.

Please refer to the footnote regarding the services and appliances.

What the Owner says:

I moved into the apartment when it was first converted and my sister even bought the one upstairs! Although I now live in a larger property with my partner, I retained the apartment and have never had a problem renting it out so I think it will appeal to all sorts of buyers including investors. I lived here for several years and it was great to be able to walk to the shops. I often took picnics across the road during the summer, especially when a cricket match was on, or strolled along the nearby Downs Link to enjoy the surrounding countryside.

It's a real bonus being able to park right outside and when friends visit, there's usually plenty of parking nearby.
