Property description

Living in a McCarthy & Stone retirement apartment will provide you with a secure and safe environment and take over some of the household tasks that have eaten up your time, like external maintenance and heavy gardening, leaving you free to rediscover the things you love, see friends and family and maybe try new things.

This particular development is located across the road from a parade of shops and cafes providing everything you will need on a daily basis and is a short distance from the library, health centre and churches. The bus stop for easy access to Worthing with its thriving theatres and art events, as well as the beach and shopping, is also close by.

The apartment itself offers a good size lounge where you can relax in peace and tranquillity over looking the communal gardens with great views over High Salvington. There is also a well equipped kitchen and well maintained bathroom. There is an equally good size bedroom and plenty of storage space throughout. This is a really lovely apartment with newly laid carpets throughout and is in very good decorative order just ready to move into.

What the Owner says:

The family said that their father loved living here, he liked that you could be as sociable as you choose to be with friendly residents. Games evenings in the communal area might be a favourite for you with maybe a spot of bridge or scrabble, and local events are arranged if you would like to get involved. The apartment always felt very safe and secure and the communal garden was a favourite with never so much as a dead head in sight. He also liked that the communal areas were always impeccably maintained and the added security knowing a warden was on site. The parade of shops and cafes just moments away with great public transport links, can really give you a new lease of life. The family know this would make a great home for the next resident.
