We bought this flat as our first ever purchase as it offered us everything we were looking for. It belonged to a member of our family so we were able to secure it without it hitting the open market. It needed everything doing though and since living here we have completely transformed it. We have replaced the kitchen, had a new boiler installed, had new carpets fitted and redecorated. If we were staying, the next room we were going to do was the bathroom. Although it is a white suite and completely fine - it was always something we wanted to change but then our baby Jack came along and changed everything and gave us a reason to take the next step up the property ladder.
