Forrabury and Minster is a civil parish on the north coast of Cornwall and was originally divided between the coastal parish of Forrabury and the inland parish of Minster until they were united in 1779. The principal settlement in the parish is the popular picturesque coastal village of Boscastle, lying some 14 miles South of Bude and 5 miles North-East of Tintagel. Boscastle has a natural harbour set in a narrow ravine surrounding by attractive thatched and white-washed cottages. Before the railways, Boscastle was a thriving port serving much of North Cornwall.
