We like the concealed staircase behind a panel in the living room which takes you to the study/bedroom 2. From here a hatch provides access to the flat roof of the tower.
The grounds are very well kept and comprise areas of lawn, ponds and even a cricket pitch! The apartment also has an allocated shed/bike store and there is plenty of car parking.
Brook House is just 3.4 miles from Haywards Heath station where trains run direct to both London Victoria and London Bridge in less than an hour. Ardingly, Lindfield and Horsted Keynes are the nearest villages where you will find some excellent pubs, restaurants and shops. Our favourite is The Crown in Horsted Keynes and The Standup in Lindfield and for fresh bread and croissants on a Saturday morning head to Fellows Bakery in Ardingly. This is the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, home of Wakehurst Place and provides extensive footpaths and outdoor pursuits.
