As first time buyers we had hoped to live close to the town centre and the railway station. We also wanted our own garden, so when the place came up for sale within our budget we knew instantly it was the place for us.
We find the location to be extremely convenient because it is only approximately 10 minute's walk from the station and it is also only a short distance for access to the motorways and Bluewater. We have made a lot of improvements including a new kitchen which we are very proud of and we have also landscaped the rear garden.
Our biggest improvement was the addition of an outbuilding. We use this as a beauty salon but it has also proven to be very handy, especially at Christmas time as additional accommodation when friends and family have come to stay with us.
