We lived in Walderslade Woods for 10 years and were very happy there. The area is quiet and the neighbourhood pleasant, with trees, open areas and pleasant walks. We found neighbours helpful and supportive. There is plenty of parking in the area. Gorse Avenue is not a through road so traffic is light, though parents from the school may park there early morning and mid afternoon. However this lasts for only a short time.
We walked our dog in the evenings and always felt safe in doing so. There are useful local shops and a Post Office and a supermarket close by in Walderslade Village.
