Augher is a little town in County Tyrone, Ireland. It is 18 miles southwest of Dungannon, on the A4 Dungannon to Enniskillen Street, midway in the middle of Ballygawley and Clogher. It is arranged in the memorable barony of Clogher and the common area of Clogher. The 2001 Census recorded a populace of 399. The town provides for its name to the nearby Gaelic Football Club.
The historic centre of the town grew in straight structure along Main Street and is met by the A4 road. Augher is an occupied group in the Clogher Valley. In the town is the curious old station house for the Clogher Valley Railway, which has following been changed over to a café. 'Clogher Valley Cheese', which is provincially made is one of the locale's sustenance specialities. On the edges of the town is Fr.Hackett Park, home to Augher St.Macartan's GFC.
