Walthamstow Village is a wonderful place to live, a real oasis of peace and calm, with history back to the 9th century, but with good cafes, shops and bars, and fast access to central London. What has made it great for us, though, is the sense of easy-going community, where we have got to know neighbours in a relaxed and unobtrusive way, especially since we had children. Our neighbours are friends, something I didn’t expect to find in London.
