Liphook has a line station, on the Portsmouth Direct Line.

The town became as an instructing stop in the middle of London and Portsmouth amid the seventeenth and eighteenth hundreds of years. It served as a base amid the First World War and the Second World War for Canadian troops positioned in Southern England. Liphook and Ripsley Cricket Club play on a ground to the southwest of the town right over the outskirt in West Sussex. There are two greens close to the town: Old Thorns, composed by Peter Alliss, is to the west of the town and Liphook Golf Club is to the south, straddling the Portsmouth Road that was once the A3.
