A regular bus service runs to and from Dunoon where other amenities can be found. Dunoon town centre is approximately 4 miles along the Shore Road and bus route. Dunoon is recognised as the marine gateway to Scotland’s first National Park and offers a variety of shopping and leisure outlets including two supermarkets, General Post Office, leisure centre, cinema and many independent local shops and a variety of restaurants. The regular bus service operates from Dunoon Pier. Argyll Ferries operate from Dunoon Pier and offers hourly passenger sailing to Gourock Pier with a train connection to Glasgow Central Station.
