Property description
Homes of this calibre do not come to the market often enough and this home definitely sets a precedence in Hythe. Nestled between the Seafront and Hythe's town centre, this stunning family home offers spacious and versatile accommodation.
The hub of this home is the contemporary open plan kitchen/diner. The central island will be a great place to catch up with your children whilst they eat their breakfast, before they head off to school. One thing for certain is you’re going to have lots of dinner parties if you buy this home. As the whole of the ground floor is the king of all entertaining spaces. You can just picture relaxing in here with the bi-fold doors folded back, sitting around the table with friends and family, while the cool sea air blows through.
The flexibility of this home becomes very clear when you venture upstairs. Bedroom 1 has inter-connecting doors to bedroom 2, however, if you wish to have a dressing room or add an en-suite the possibilities are there. Bedroom 5 is perfect for a teenage child as it has a contemporary twist with a mezzanine level giving them plenty of space if their friends come over.
One thing you will definitely be doing, is going for walks along the Seafront. Picture coming back from a walk on a crisp spring morning, then warming yourself up in front of the log burner or the open fire in the lounge.
What the Owner says:
The house you see today is not the house we bought four years ago. The heart and soul had been stripped out and our main aim during the refurbishment was to give this property its character back.
We started with the ground floor, where we reinstated the two fireplaces; one has an open fire and the other has a log burner. Then we open planned the rest of the ground floor and fitted large glazed bi-fold doors, giving you a contemporary open plan living area which flows into the garden. We refurbished the bathroom and the shower room and sub divided the top floor, creating a self-contained annex which we have currently let at £650 pcm, including all bills.
