The White House is a substantial detached family home located in the popular village of Kenn. The house maintains many period features including flag stone floors, shutters, sash windows and stone inglenook fireplaces.
The ground floor comprises three spacious reception rooms; a sitting room (which could be reshuffled to provide a kitchen overlooking the gardens), living room and dining room, together with a large kitchen/breakfast room and separate utility; conservatory style rear porch and downstairs cloak room. Upstairs are six bedrooms, the master having its own suite comprising bathroom with shower cubicle, separate cloakroom and large bedroom with fitted wardrobes and a dual aspect over the garden. A back staircase leads down to the kitchen.
Outside the gardens are a wonderful feature of the property with large lawns, mature trees and established shrub borders, as well as a wildlife garden with pond and mature willow tree. There are plenty of storage sheds to the rear of the house with a log store and boiler room.
Kenn is a popular village close to the A38 dual carriageway and thus providing excellent road links to Plymouth and Exeter. The village has a beautiful parish church, a village stores and a thriving traditional local pub. Kenn has a well regarded local primary school and award winning pre school, whilst the cathedral city of Exeter some 6 miles away offers some excellent private schools.
