Property description
Welcome to Embassy Court, a landmark building standing proud on the Brighton seafront, an iconic building renowned worldwide and undoubtedly one of the finest creations of the Modernist era. Built in 1935 and designed by Wells Coates 'Embassy Court' has been home to many celebrities such as Max Miller, Sir Lawrence Olivier and Brighton Rock author Graham Greene. It is such a cool place to live, it's central yet well and truly off the commercial and tourist track, where the beaches and the wonderful Hove lawns are like an extension to your home. Situated on the 8th floor and to east side of the building this particular apartment offers spectacular views along the coastline towards central Brighton, just imagine waking up every day to stunning views and the most wonderful evening sunsets. Embassy Court is certainly one of a kind, spanning the whole roof is the 'piece de resistance', a magnificent roof terrace for residents to enjoy. The apartment, one of the largest in the building, is spacious and bang on trend for today's hectic lifestyles and demands. With three bedrooms you have the choice of a home office, and with a substantial sized lounge entertaining at home is certainly made easy. Running the full length of the apartment are three balconies confirming how unique this home really is. On the adjacent Western Road you'll find an array of shops, takeaways, fashionable eateries and trendy bars. This truly is one off opportunity to acquire such a stylish home in such a beautiful building.
What the Owner says:
I've lived in Brighton for over 30 years and I can honestly say that this has been my favourite home. The beautiful views are ever changing and I will miss them very much. The location has been amazing; Summer barbecues on the beach and for evenings out bars and restaurants are all literally on the door step, and for trips to London, the station is so easy to get to. The beautiful St Anne's Wells Gardens, is only a 10 minute walk away. There's a nice community feel to the building and the residents association regularly organises little get togethers on the roof terrace and the artists who live in the building always participate in the Brighton festival with open houses and exhibitions. I hope the new owners will enjoy living here as much as I have.
