Property description
As soon as you enter this property you realise that this is not your average bungalow. All the dimensions give this bungalow a real feeling of space, from the large entertaining areas through to the double bedrooms with built-in cupboards.
What you will also not fail to notice are the stunning views that are available from every window. From the back of the house you can see for miles. Across the fields, the river Thames snakes its way out to sea and you can watch the ships meander their way up and down the river. To the front there are beautiful views of horses grazing in the rolling fields. Every room in this bungalow is fit for purpose, from the huge open plan lounge and dining areas through to the master bedroom, complete with its own en-suite bathroom. There is also a spacious kitchen area and utility area. An even larger kitchen/diner could be created by knocking through to the adjacent dining room. The house also has a spacious, light filled garden room that opens up to the back garden.
Those of you looking for a more substantial family home could just as easily be interested as there is a large loft space which could be extended into, allowing you to create your very own dream home, subject to obtaining the necessary planning and building permission.
The garden, which wraps all around the property, has enough room for little ones to play and, at the side there is a double garage with a driveway that can accommodate plenty of family and visitors.
Please refer to the footnote regarding the services and appliances. What the Owner says:
When our Father had this bungalow designed by his architect in the 1980's he wanted a home that was attractive and comfortable with the perfect amount of space for both day to day life and family gatherings. The double-wide plot that the house resides upon provided the perfect spot. He had always lived in Higham and loved the location because of the amazing panoramic views and sense of peace. The countryside all around is great for exploring with lots of footpaths, making it a walkers' paradise.
The village is conveniently located being less than a ten-minute walk away. It has all the everyday amenities that you could need with shops for supplies, a doctor's surgery, a post office and, at its heart, the essential village pub.
